Hauser

He is one of the most unfair teachers I have ever encountered. He is making only half of his classes take his quiz because of the visit with the Vice President. How are we suppose to study for it when he doesn't return any of the homework's back? Also, for my class only, he got really mad one day at ONE PERSON so he took everyone's worksheets away. He graded what you had done, which as basically nothing because we only had it for ten minutes. I'm glad I am almost done with his class.

2012

Four years ago, I always wondered what people meant when they said that high school goes by so fast. I remember sitting one day in guidance filling out a schedule form for my classes sophomore year. To think that now I only have a little less then 5 months, before I go off on my own for college.

Road Trip

At the end of next week, I will be visiting my college. I am so excited to finally have that college feel. I already told the team in advance about my arrival. Two of them already have my whole visit planned. They are going to show me around Fort Wayne, introduce me to the guy's golf team and there friends and I am also going to sit in on a few classes. Even though my main goal is to get my golf swing in check, it's the last thing on my mind.

Christmas Spirit

It doesn't really seem like Christmas this year. We put our tree up last night, made sugar cookies, put on Christmas music, and it still didn't feel like it. Now, I feel like it will never feel like Christmas this year.

Today

Earlier today, a friend and I briefly talked about how in today's society there is a distinct difference in the class system. If you take a good look around you, you will see either how easy or difficult kids have it these days. Take a drive to out skirts of Columbus. What you will see is house after house with there doors and windows boarded up. On the boards there is graffiti everywhere from gang members representing themselves. If you take a closer look at the houses you will see them run down, junk all over the place, and perhaps a broken window in more than one spot. Now imagine how the kids feel. They could be embarrassed to tell people where they are growing up or how they are scared night after night for there family's safety. Then if you go to Gahanna, New Albany, or even Upper Arlington, it will be a totally different look. Family's have a house that looks nicely up kept weekly, maybe more than 2 cars, and kids who have nice clothes to wear everyday. Everyday they don't have to worry about there safety or even a care in the world. This is because, we get everything we want. It's really not fair. How one part of society can be fighting for there lives and 4 miles away another part could be eating a dinner where they have more food than they can eat.

"Fashion" Statements

I don't get how some people aren't properly dressed according to the weather. I see girls still wearing shorts and the occasional flip-flop, when it is below 40 degrees. Then you hear them complain about how cold they are. I wonder if covering themselves up, could help the problem?! If it is summer time, you might see a girl in a bikini, shorts then uggs. Uggs are a boot that have fur on the inside, typically worn in winter.

Christmas Scents

When I think of Christmas, I think of all the smells that comes along with it. A few smells would be cinnamon, cranberry, sugar cookies, peppermint, pine, and apple. Last night, my mom and I were at this store that happened to have scented candles. You would be amazed on how many Christmas scents they carry. Like this one candle, it's scent was Christmas Night. How can anyone narrow down what a Christmas night smells like?
